2024 JAMB Mock Exam.

A recent publication by JAMB disclosed that candidates are now required to pay the sum of N1,000 during registration, extra, to their JAMB registration fee. This is to prevent losses for the operators of CBT centres should the candidates fail to turn up for the mock examination.

While Mock UTME is voluntary, the Board has discovered that thousands of candidates had over the previous years, failed to show up on the date of the mock exams after CBT centres must have prepared for the Mock tests.

According to JAMB PRO, Benjamin Fabian, who said and I quote below:

“Candidates who are interested in sitting for the 2024 Mock Examination will be required to pay the sum of N1000 service charge during JAMB registration to the CBT centres for the conduct of mock examination.

The purpose of making candidates pay for the MOCK examination is that numerous CBT centres will commit human and material resources, waiting for candidates who indicated that they are interested in the Mock examination, only for them to stay away on the day of the examination.”
