Latest information reaching Us today is that the management of the Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), has officially released the amount which is payable as school fees by fresh (newly admitted 100L) students and old students for the 2023/2024 academic session.
Here are the full Obafemi Awolowo University school fees for the 2023/2024 session, for both fresh and returning students.
OAU SCHOOL FEES FOR FRESH STUDENTS.

Important Note.
i) This is the Faculty of Administration (Diploma in Local Government Studies) Tuition – 63,300.00
TISHIP (Tertiary Institutions Students Health Insurance Prog.) – 1,600.00

ii) Accommodation: – N3,090.00
It is very important to note here, that all newly admitted students will be provided accommodation on a first come first served basis. So it is better if you want to lodge in the school hostel, to pay faster.
And a Development Levy of Eighteen thousand naira (N18, 000.00), which is paid once and for all by Fresh Students throughout the duration of their studentship in the University.

All returning students are required to pay the appropriate charges as indicated above, including the sum of N1,600 for TISHIPÂ (Tertiary Institutions Students Health Insurance Programme)
Likewise, all students with extra semester(s) are expected to pay the appropriate charges, including TISHIP as indicated above. These students should ensure that they obtain clearance from their Heads of Departments to enable them to log on to the e-portal for registration and other important information.
You will be able to access the e-portal from any CyberCafé anywhere for this registration as stipulated above.
OAU BED SPACE ALLOCATION:
For all fresh undergraduates and final-year students, You will be able to apply for Bed Space Allocation Placement, directly on the e-portal, after you have paid the appropriate fees, including the accommodation fee.
All aspiring candidates, who wish to reside in the OAU student Hostel, are required to print 3 copies of Bed Space Clearance Forms, from the OAU portal. These copies Must be duly signed by the student and the Hall Warden. The forms will be administered as follows:
- Students are required to keep one.
- Then take another one and submit one copy to the Dean, of Student Affairs.
- As for the last copy, You are expected to submit the third copy to the Hall Warden to qualify him/her to OCCUPYÂ the bed space. Please note that failure to submit the Bed Space Clearance Forms as stipulated automatically disqualifies the Bed Space Allocation.
Apart from fresh undergraduate students, all final-year students are also given priority in the allocation of bed spaces. However, if there are other spaces available (if any) will be balloted for.
Finally, the school Management also wishes to inform parents/guardians, including the general public, that figures that may be brandished about by individuals or groups, different from the above are false and are not from the University authorities.
