The Lagos state university – lasu jamb cut off marks for departments and courses, has been released for the 2020/21 academic session. Please take note that there are certain criteria which must be observed by students before being admitted to study their selected courses in any university of their choice.
One of the criteria for getting admitted into your preferred institution, is the jamb cut of mark for each schools as well as the courses itself. Getting admitted becomes easier, once you have met the required cut off mark for the admission into a particular course.
What is JAMB Cut off Mark?
This is one question most candidates are asking, and am incline to answer this question. Cut off mark is an agreed score which is usually set by a particular institution as a basis of admitting students into each available department of study.
Take note that this score is usually accredited to candidates based on their performance in a particular examination, and in the case of Nigeria, it’s based on the JAMB UTME examination. However, students/candidates who did score above the required cut off mark will be given admission and preferentially treated in the admission process above those who have met the exact cut off mark.
This is to say if the school set 200 as it’s cut off mark, but you scored 220, you will be given a preferential treatment to a candidate who scored 200, which is the exact mark.
LASU Departmental Cut off Mark 2021.
Not to spread false hope around, I very much preferred to say the truth. Candidates who selected the Lagos State University as their preferred institution during UTME Registration should know that Lasu does not really have a specific cut off mark for all courses. However, candidates who have scored a minimum of one 180 in UTME examination are qualified and eligible to apply for admission into any of their choice courses.

However, due to the high number of students who applied to study at Lagos State University, the admission processes is competitive and admission is given based on JAMB score and applicant’s O’level grades.
