LATEST news reaching our news desk early Today, is that the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board, JAMB has officially cancelled the results of thousands of candidates, who participated in the recently concluded CBT examination.
According to information published by the Board, a total of 59,698 UTME Candidates results were canceled, while a total of 62, 140 candidates have been rescheduled to write the exam on 1st July. The most painful truth is that Even if your result has already been released, BUT your center is among those canceled, then your result is also canceled too.
We have also received information, that the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has concluded all plans to write the Supplementary Examination for specific students in April 2019.
How to Check If your Result is Cancelled
1. You are to check the Jamb official result checking portal by following this guideline.
2. Or you can choose to visit your JAMB profile page and check if your result is still valid.
3. Lastly, you should check your Mobile phone, email you used during the UTME registration, and see if you received any message, regarding your result.
How JAMB Can Contact You
For candidates whose centres were cancelled as shown in the table below, they will be re-writing their exams. Here is how JAMB will be informing all concerned candidates, using these channels as mentioned below;
1. The UTME board will be sending SMS to this affected candidates registered Mobile Number.
2. JAMB UTME will also send a mail to the Email address, all affected candidates used in creating their JAMB profile.
3. Lastly, all candidates can now easily login to their JAMB profile online, where a notification will be displayed if they are qualified to write the examination.
