JAMB News: Compulsory JAMB UTME Novel To Read For JAMB 2020 Candidates

The JAMB UTME management has announced the 2020 JAMB compulsory novel to read for all 2020/2021 Jambites (candidates).

JAMB has recommended 2 Compulsory Novels that candidates are to read before their exams, starting 6th May 2017. The 2 Novels are for UTME and Direct Entry (DE) candidates.

  1. “Sweet Sixteen” authored by Bolaji Abdullahi.
  2. “The Last Days at Forcados High School” by A.H. Mohammed for Direct Entry Candidates.

According to the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) leadership who made this public announcement on Wednesday, mandated all candidates who have successfully registered and waiting to participate in the 2020 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), to read a Novel irrespective of their course of study.

Please note that it’s compulsory that all candidates would be tested based on the Novel.

Please note that the name of the novel is ‘‘Sweet Sixteen’’ and “The Last Days at Forcados High School” by H. Mohammed.

Take note that this Novel will be sold at an additional cost of N500 (five hundred Naira) after you have successfully registered for the upcoming examination.

Please take note that the Board of directors of JAMB has made full arrangementss to provide the book to avoid the challenge of availability and piracy as the textbooks will be issued at the point of registration to all candidates who have registered for the exercise.
