UTME 2019: JAMB List of Suspended CBT Centers Released

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board ( JAMB) has officially disclosed that a total of 116 CBT centers which participated in the recently concluded JAMB CBT has been penalized and banned.

The UTME Board released the list of Computer Based Test (CBT) centers which have been completely suspended for helping examination malpractices across 36 states of Nigeria.

According to the JAMB board, these centres were suspected to have conspired with suspects during the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) which was held Tuesday, 11th April to Wednesday, 17th April, 2019 across Nigeria.

It is no longer breaking news that the 2019 UTME results has been released. However, for those who are yet to be aware, the result was released Saturday, 11th May, 2019.

The results of the April 11th and 17th had long been expected and has raised questions from well meaning Nigerians. The board said the results were delayed because it was investigating alleged Malpractice in some centres across the Nation.

Out of the 1,826,839 candidates who sat for the UTME, the board has so far released the results of 1,792,719 candidates.

The UTME board further disclosed that a total of 34,120 results were withheld, including the results of 15,145 candidates being further clarified ”as identical twins and siblings.”
