How to Register for JAMB Exam for Students Living Outside Nigeria.
Remember that candidates who are registering from any of the nine (9) foreign countries listed above are to pay $20 or its equivalent in each of the nine countries’ local currencies as the JAMB registration fee.
- Foreign candidates are required to visit the JAMB portal @ www.jamb.gov.ng/efacility.
- The first requirement is to create a JAMB Profile. Please endeavour to use your correct details.
- After you have successfully created your JAMB profile, log in.
- On the left side of your menu, click on Foreign UTME/DE registration.
- Go through all instructions and carefully follow all guidelines until the payment page.
- When it comes to the payment page, you will be required to pay the JAMB foreign student registration fee of $20 with your card. Ensure you make payment with any of the payment methods listed on the site.
- A confirmation mail will be sent to the email you used for registration. In rare case where you did not receive the confirmation email, please contact JAMB support by creating a ticket at https://jamb.gov.ng/support.
JAMB Registration for 2023 Important Tips.
- All candidates interested or who will be registering for the 2023/2024 JAMB examination, it is important that this is done at any of the accredited centres listed by Jamb here centres.jamb.gov.ng/public.php. While for foreign students, the JAMB centre address in your country of residence will be communicated to you after registration. - JAMB will fix CCTV cameras inside all the JAMB examination halls across all centres. This is to capture the activities of all candidates and invigilators, ensuring that malpractice is reduced to the bare minimum.
- Be rest assured that this year’s JAMB will be and remain a Computer-Based Test for all candidates, except special candidates with difficulties.
- It is advisable to register early for the examination, so you can avoid congestion of web traffic from other candidates registering late.
- The Board forbids candidates to have more than one registration number. Candidates with more than one registration number will be identified by Jamb. Dual registration in JAMB is considered a criminal offence and might lead to disqualification for the exercise, even if you’ve fully paid the registration fee.
- Your details you used for your UTME/DE registration is very important. Details like E-mail address, password, registration number, are vital.
- JAMB mock is not mandatory and candidates can skip it if they chooses, it does not have any effect on your JAMB result. However, the introduction of the JAMB Mock Examination is to help prepare candidates so they can better position and understand how the CBT works on their examination date.
- JAMB management prohibits candidates carrying either mobile phone, smartwatches, calculators, from entering the examination hall. Gadgets such as any electronic device, wristwatch, pen, or any other materials are not allowed inside the examination hall.
